MLB Baseball Underdog System

Only 2 plays tonight, and the Royals game is kind of debateable as it close to breaking two of the criteria. One is that Lackey who is pitching for the Angels is ranked #25, and we do not play anyone in the top #20. Also, the number is getting very close to +150, and we don’t play games over +150. In terms of being a true system, this is a play. Barely, but still a play none the less. If you see it at over +150 though, that makes it not a play.

I got in on the Rockies early at +107, and they ended up being a favorite around game time.  For most of these plays, it is sometimes better to wait until close to game time, as favorites usually get bet up.

I have been monitoring and tracking a few different baseball systems this year at my main sports handicapping and betting blog.  This is one of the systems, the MLB Baseball Underdog System.  The jist of this system is to play on moneyline underdogs between +100 and +150 if they are:

• Not on a 3 game losing streak or more
• Not playing a team that is on a 3 game winning streak or more
• Not facing a pitcher in the top 20 of their league.

The system has had its ups and downs so far this year, however I have been using last years pitcher stats for most of April.  Since switching to this years pitcher stats, the system is 5-0 over the last 2 days.  Overall record for this system currently is  (22-29, -1.4 units).
